mioty Store showcasing wireless industrial sensors and gateways for smart factory solutions
From sensors to gateways: mioty® hardware from the mioty Store connects machines, systems, and environmental data in production. Source: mioty alliance

In many factories, machines are running at full speed, but much of the data from production, infrastructure, and the environment remains unused. This is where mioty® comes in: a wireless technology developed specifically for harsh industrial environments that reliably transmits sensor data over long distances.

mioty® converts analog states into digital information – from machine status and energy consumption to temperature, humidity, and environmental conditions. This gives companies the transparency they need for efficient, forward-looking, and resource-saving processes.

Why mioty® is exciting for industry

mioty® belongs to the LPWAN family of technologies and is consistently designed for industrial applications. For operators of plants and facilities, the following advantages are particularly important:

  • Long range: Radio coverage across large factory premises – even across multiple halls and buildings.

  • Scalability: From pilot projects with a few sensors to thousands of devices in a network.

  • Energy efficiency: Extremely economical transmission, allowing sensors to run on batteries for years.

  • Reliability in the radio jungle: Data is transmitted robustly and stablyeven with heavy radio traffic and metal environments.

This makes mioty® particularly suitable for applications such as condition monitoring, energy monitoring, maintenance, environmental monitoring, or connecting existing switching signals to IIoT platforms.

The mioty Store: Quick start to your own projects

The mioty Store brings together tested mioty® hardware in one place. Users will find sensors, gateways, and accessories that can be used to quickly set up their own projects—from initial tests to scalable solutions.

Selected examples:

  • WiTTRA LPTH environmental sensor
Measures temperature, humidity, and other environmental parameters and is designed for use in demanding environments—such as production halls, warehouses, or outdoor areas.

  • LANSEN dry contact
Makes simple switching states IoT-capable. Door contacts, relays, or switches can thus be integrated directly into the mioty® network and recorded as digital signals.

  • AST-X mioty® Gateway Viority
The entry point to your own mioty® infrastructure: The gateway collects sensor data, connects to the IT and cloud world, and forms the heart of a mioty® network in the factory.

These building blocks provide companies with a practical shortcut: instead of spending a long time searching for compatible hardware, they can get started right away with a coordinated selection.

From the first sensor to the smart factory

Whether you want to monitor just one area or network an entire factory, mioty® allows you to start small and scale up step by step.

  • Start with a few sensors and a gateway

  • Expand to additional halls, facilities, or locations

  • Integrate the data into existing systems, dashboards, and platforms

If you want to know whether mioty® is suitable for your own production environment, you can find the right hardware for proof-of-concepts, pilot projects, and rollouts in the mioty Store —or contact us directly for individual advice on the right solution for you.
