microsensys combines Bluetooth Low Energy sensors, mobile access and an industrial BLE reader in its TELID®700 ecosystem. The solution captures condition data such as temperature, humidity, pressure, inclination and vibration directly at assets without extensive cabling or recurring manual inspections.

Wireless Sensor Data Directly From Industrial Assets

Condition monitoring becomes more difficult when measurement points are distributed across large installations, located in hard-to-access areas or attached to moving equipment. The TELID®700 family from microsensys addresses these scenarios with compact wireless sensors based on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).

The sensors capture physical parameters directly at machines, infrastructure objects and other technical assets. Depending on the sensor type, monitored values include temperature, humidity, internal pressure, inclination and vibration.

Data can be transmitted over distances of many meters, enabling measurement points to be added without extensive new cabling. This makes TELID®700 suitable for long-term infrastructure monitoring as well as condition monitoring and predictive maintenance applications.

Retrofitting Condition Monitoring

A central advantage of the wireless approach is the ability to retrofit sensor technology to existing equipment. Measurement points can be installed where permanent cabling would be complex or where regular manual access is undesirable.

Applications described by microsensys include temperature and movement monitoring at bearings and technical installations, physical measurements on infrastructure assets, and monitoring in hazardous or difficult-to-access areas.

The sensors can also be used on moving objects, extending condition monitoring beyond permanently installed machines.

From Individual Sensor to Automated Monitoring

For smaller deployments, users can start with a TELID®700 sensor and the TELID®7sensor mobile app. This enables sensor data to be accessed locally without first installing a larger reader infrastructure.

The architecture can then be expanded using the iID® INDUSTRY 0906 BLE Reader, which automatically collects data from the wireless sensors.

BLE Reader Connects Sensors With Higher-Level Systems

The iID® INDUSTRY 0906 BLE Reader provides automated acquisition of TELID®700 sensor data. Current measurement values can be viewed through its integrated web interface, while collected data can also be exported for further analysis or integration into other systems.

This creates a progression from individual wireless measurements to continuously available condition data that can be incorporated into industrial monitoring and maintenance processes.

For solution providers, the combination of sensors, BLE communication, mobile access and stationary reader infrastructure provides modular building blocks for implementing different levels of monitoring automation.

Less Manual Inspection, More Available Condition Data

TELID®700 is particularly relevant where existing assets need additional condition visibility without rebuilding the surrounding infrastructure. Wireless retrofitting can reduce the need for manual measurement rounds while making operational data available more regularly.
