RFID windshield sticker for secure vehicle identification

IDeSTIX® is a self-adhesive RFID windshield sticker that serves as a “third license plate” for electronic vehicle identification. It is applied to the inside of the windshield and operates with passive RAIN RFID technology and cryptographic authentication.

In combination with IDePLATE®, IDeSTIX increases the overall security against forgery, but it can also be used as a standalone solution.

The sticker is supplied on carrier paper in rolls and is designed for personalization with common desktop thermal transfer printers. A customizable holographic film with demetallized structures acts as the antenna for the integrated RFID inlay, while a transparent top film protects the printed data.

The printed information is permanently sealed between the layers, with the entire adhesive surface facing the windshield. If someone attempts to remove the sticker, it destroys itself – any manipulation is immediately visible.
