Melita acquires German IoT provider Digital SIM GmbH
Melita strengthens melita.io in the DACH market and expands its IoT connectivity portfolio
Melita Limited is further expanding the international activities of its IoT connectivity brand melita.io and acquiring the German IoT connectivity provider Digital SIM GmbH. With this acquisition, Melita is expanding its presence in the DACH region and adding additional expertise in the local market and an established customer base to its offering.
Digital SIM is an experienced provider of IoT and M2M mobile communications and has been supporting customers in carrier operations and technical support for around 20 years. The company delivers tailor-made connectivity solutions for medium-sized companies, corporations, utilities, and municipalities in the DACH region.
Key added value includes access to over 500 global mobile networks via an integrated management platform and personal support from a specialized team. Digital SIM also pursues a partnership-based approach to precisely meet individual requirements in different industries and fields of application.

Melita's IoT connectivity is already seamlessly integrated into the Digital SIM customer platform. Customers will be able to use the service in the future with the newly introduced melita.io eSIM as well as in MFF2 and classic plastic SIM formats.
