The goal of the two-day workshop on UHF RFID is to gain knowledge about RFID transponders, RFID readers, physical limits of UHF technology and standardization so that decisions can be made in applications.
In this course, participants will learn through numerous practical exercises how UHF RFID capture points can be set up and optimized, and which strategies are available for error prevention and correction. The training materials also provide all participants with a comprehensive reference work on UHF technology.
Interested in UHF RFID technology, but don’t know where to start? Or would you like to refresh and expand your existing knowledge? The two-day workshop is the ideal opportunity to gain a comprehensive and practical understanding of UHF RFID.
Your Trainer
The two-day workshop will be led by Joachim Scharnagl, Graduate Engineer (FH), specializing in electrical engineering. He has worked at Siemens AG for 30 years and in the field of RFID for around 20 years. Joachim Scharnagl has already trained over 500 participants.
What Awaits You?
Learn all about the most important components of UHF RFID – from transponders and readers to the physical principles and standards. Joachim Scharnagl from Siemens explains the key concepts to help you understand how UHF RFID works and and how best to implement your applications.
Practical Experience
Through practical exercises and experiments in groups of two, you will gain valuable insights into how UHF RFID systems work, what UHF RFID technology can do, and where its limits lie. The comprehensive experiment kit gives all participants the opportunity to experience the technology in practice.
Individual Support
Do you have specific questions or challenges? Bring your own topics and receive individual advice and support from our experts.
Useful Training Materials
With our detailed reference PDF on UHF technology, you have a valuable tool for your future projects. This document will help you to consolidate and apply what you have learned.
