Detailed product information

In chemical, pharmaceutical, or food industry process plants, pumpable fluids are distributed to the relevant sections via hose stations. To maintain process quality and safety, connection errors must be reliably avoided—especially since the transferred media are often hazardous. By using RFID-based automatic identification at hose coupling points, the system can verify correct connections in real time without any additional effort. If a hose is connected incorrectly, integration into the automation environment ensures that pumps remain off and processes cannot start, effectively preventing costly consequences.

  • The compact read/write heads are suitable for use in Zone 1 (gas) and Zone 21 (dust) hazardous areas.

  • The 30GM-Ex design is ideally suited for applications in the process industry, such as hose stations or sampling points.

  • Available for LF (125 kHz) and HF RFID (13.56MHz)
