Ultra-compact HF/NFC Transponder in Plug Form
The NeoTAG® Plug G/MG3326 is NEOSID’s smallest HF/NFC plug transponder to date, measuring just Ø 3.3 mm by 2.6 mm. Compared to previous plug tags, the tag area is reduced by ~40% and the volume by >50%, enabling reliable identification of very small parts.
As with all NEOSID plug transponders, the G/MG3326 is designed for harsh industrial environments and is available in versions for metal and non-metal mounting. The press-fit housing installs quickly and securely in a 3.0 mm bore, making it ideal for drill and milling inserts and other miniature components.
The result: smart tools ready for transparent, Industry 4.0 workflows.
What “Plug” means
“Plug” denotes the cylindrical, press-fit form factor that seats flush in a drilled recess. Benefits:

Why ferrite matters
Metal attenuates HF fields. NEOSID’s molded soft ferrite inside the tag guides the 13.56 MHz magnetic field, decouples the transponder from surrounding metal, and stabilizes coupling.
