ARU 2400 UHF RFID Antenna Reader

The ARU 2400 is a compact, basic RAIN RFID reader with an integrated antenna, designed for indoor applications in logistics, manufacturing, and supply chain environments. Based on the latest RFID standards such as EPC Gen2v2 / ISO 18000-63, the ARU 2400 supports all leading transponder chip features.

Central Control of up to 24 Smart Shelf Antennas

This unique antenna bus system:

• uses the existing antenna cable,

• supports a daisy-chain configuration of antennas,

• relies on antennas with FAKRA connectors featuring RF input and output.

Each individual reading point can selectively detect, for example, containers or totes and report them back with the precise reading position. Typically, up to seven separate readers would be required for such setups – here, they are replaced by a single ARU 2400, reducing hardware costs by approximately 66%.
