LAYER®Vault from Dracula Technologies is a fully integrated power platform that combines low-light organic photovoltaic (OPV) energy harvesting and electrical storage on a single, flexible film.

Designed for ultra-low-power IoT devices, LAYER®Vault delivers true energy autonomy: it generates power from ambient light and stores it directly on-board, enabling electronics that charge themselves in everyday indoor conditions.

Based on patented OPV inkjet-printing technology, LAYER®Vault offers a cost-effective, scalable and highly customizable solution that redefines what’s possible for battery-free and battery-assisted devices.

While LAYER® focuses exclusively on energy generation, LAYER®Vault adds a printed battery on the back of the OPV cell, allowing it to both harvest and store energy in one ultra-thin module.
