BTRY T150 - The battery for smart BLE labels
BTRY AG is a Swiss deep-tech startup developing the first generation of the BTRY T150, a rechargeable solid-state microbattery designed specifically for integration into thin labels and ultra-compact devices. With a thickness of only 0.2 mm, the T150 can be seamlessly embedded into flexible form factors, while its temperature stability up to 150°C allows it to withstand lamination, industrial processes and demanding environments.
Despite its small size, the T150 delivers power peaks of up to 100 mA, enabling reliable BLE transmission and other short high-power tasks. With a nominal capacity of 5 mAh, it can operate independently for extended periods without a continuous power supply.
The T150 is also ideally suited for energy-harvesting systems, such as organic PV or RF charging. Once charged, it provides a stable energy buffer to bridge periods with limited or no harvesting, enabling maintenance-free smart labels and next-generation IoT devices.
