BTRY: Manufacturer of the World’s Thinnest Battery

BTRY was founded in 2023 as a spin-off from ETH Zürich and Empa. The company develops thin-film solid-state batteries for high-performance IoT applications such as BLE labels, smart cards, remote sensors or other compact electronic devices. The batteries can be charged within just one minute and offer high power peaks for wireless signal transmission and data collection. Thanks to its unique chemistry and manufacturing process, BTRY is non-flammable and safe.
