With the launch of its latest omlox Starter Kit, NXP Semiconductors takes a decisive step toward simplifying and accelerating the deployment of Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) in industrial environments. Developed in collaboration with SynchronicIT and Flowcate, the solution delivers a complete, ready-to-deploy ecosystem, combining hardware, software and analytics into one unified platform.

At the core of the kit is the new Trimension® SR048 Ultra-Wideband (UWB) SoC, engineered to provide high-precision positioning even in complex industrial settings. Together with the MCX W72 wireless MCU, the platform enables accurate, real-time tracking and positioning across a wide range of use cases.
