iID PENsolid PRO: The RFID pen reader for any hand, any industry
Microsensys presents the mobile RFID all-rounder for data capture on the go – from logistics to agriculture and aviation to the laboratory
The iID PENsolid PRO RFID pen from microsensys is a handy, robust RFID reader/writer for HF (13.56 MHz) or UHF (868/915 MHz). It reads and writes miniaturized RFID tags, labels, plates, and TELID sensors – ideal for fast, documented capture directly on the object. Via Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 and NFC/USB-C, the pen connects seamlessly to Android, Windows, and iOS devices.
Mobile data capture – touch & go
The PEN form factor with touch tip allows ergonomic working on the move – for example, during relocation, testing, prototyping, or in measurement and testing processes. In the UHF version, two antennas ensure maximum flexibility: a near-field antenna in the tip for the smallest transponders and a mid-range antenna on the side for longer reading distances.
Variants & compatibility
HF (ISO 15693/14443 A/B): Broad chip support – ideal for MINI-tags, labels, and TELID sensors.
UHF (ISO 18000-6C / EPC Gen2): Dual antenna, fast detection, HID keyboard output via BLE on request.
With the iID software tools, teams can immediately start configuration, testing, and operation – including script operation for standardized output or bidirectional communication.
Built for industrial environments
The iID PENsolid PRO is IP67-rated, designed for temperatures ranging from -20 °C to +60 °C, and offers haptic/acoustic feedback (LED, vibration, buzzer). The 450 mAh Li-Poly battery easily lasts a full working day – charged via USB-C or conveniently wirelessly via the charging station.
