Its integrated near-field antenna creates a clearly limited read zone and effectively reduces so-called stray reads and cross reads. This allows RFID tags to be captured reliably—without unintentionally reading neighboring items, containers or textiles.
Powerful platform for fast, stable reads
Technologically, the Chainway R3S is based on a powerful Impinj E-Series chipset with Gen2X support. This enables high read speeds, strong anti-collision performance and stable results—even in high tag-density environments. The reader is therefore suitable for single-item identification as well as controlled multi-tag reading directly at the workstation.
Flexible interfaces for easy integration
For system integration, the R3S supports multiple interfaces:
USB Type-C for classic desktop applications
Ethernet (10/100 Base-T) with PoE+ for network infrastructures
Bluetooth LE for wireless scenarios
