HF | NFC Panel Reader Neo for More Security

User identification represents a significant security factor at all production systems or machines. RFID technology plays a special role here, as it is versatile and can be easily integrated into existing access systems. The HF | NFC Panel Reader Neo from iDTRONIC can be put to use quickly and reliably controls access to machines.

At a glance:

  • Panel Reader for smartcards and keyfobs
  • Easy to integrate into an existing RFID system
  • Reduces machine downtime
  • Increases production reliability

The Panel Reader in Machine Control

In Industry 4.0, it is crucial that industrial machines are only operated by instructed and authorized employees. This requirement is easy to implement with the RFID Panel Reader Neo. It is integrated into the existing RFID system at the machine. Once an employee has logged in via smartcard or keyfob, (only) authorized production profiles are made available.

Low Integration Effort

The HF | NFC Panel Reader Neo is very small. It has a cylindrical shape with a maximum diameter of 28 millimeters and is 46 millimeters high. If the pre-drilled hole through which the reader's cable is threaded is already present, then minimal integration effort is required. If not, then iDTRONIC offers a compact, alternative solution, namely the HF | NFC Access Reader NEO, which is attached externally.

Benefits of Industry 4.0

Access control in machine control leads to reduced downtime of individual machines, fewer operator errors on systems, and less material waste.

The HF | NFC Panel Reader Neo can be used in all production equipment and industrial sectors. 98 percent of common transponder chips are supported. The Panel Reader is completely dust-proof and able to protect against water jets from any angle (IP65).
