Detailed product information
Compact RFID interfaces for fast, rugged industrial integration
Turck’s compact RFID interfaces simplify industrial identification by connecting HF and UHF read/write heads directly to common industrial networks. Modules are available for PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, CANopen and EtherCAT.
For harsh environments, fully encapsulated multiprotocol field modules with integrated RFID and I/O and the modular IP67 system enable installation right at the machine, often eliminating the need for protective enclosures.
For control cabinet applications, DIN-rail IP20 modules provide a clean integration option, with programmable versions enabling local preprocessing and control functions on the module.
Key Facts
Parallel operation of HF and UHF heads via the same interface
Versions for control cabinet (IP20) or field mounting (IP65/IP68/IP69K)
For standard applications, no PLC function block programming required
Inputs (trigger) and outputs (actuators) connectable via the same interface
HF Bus Mode supports up to 32 HF read/write devices on one RFID channel
Applications
Designed for logistics and industrial identification tasks
Ideal for modular machines, since no cabinet is required in field installations
Well suited for RFID retrofits in running production facilities (e.g., compact field interfaces)
