The iID®wearable UHF is a compact, wrist-mounted RFID reader developed by microsensys, designed for efficient, hands-free data capture in industrial, logistics, and administrative environments. Combining mobility with performance, this wearable scanner enables users to identify, track, and manage assets in real time without interrupting their workflow.

Equipped with a UHF RFID interface based on ISO 18000-6C, the device supports a wide range of transponders, including common chip families from NXP, Impinj, and Alien. With a read range of up to 150 cm, it allows fast and reliable scanning of multiple items, making it ideal for applications such as inventory management, material handling, and asset tracking.

The ergonomic design ensures comfortable use throughout the day. Worn on the wrist or attached via a badge holder, the reader enables true hands-free operation. Scanning can be triggered via a button, motion sensor, or directly through a connected host device, providing flexibility for different workflows.

Data is transmitted wirelessly via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to mobile devices or backend systems, ensuring seamless integration into existing infrastructures. Visual, acoustic, and haptic feedback through LEDs, buzzer, and vibration signals provide clear user interaction and status indication in any environment.
