The ECCO+ is a robust RFID and barcode scanner that remains easy to operate – even when wearing the thickest work gloves. Its high-capacity battery powers a full shift without the need for recharging. Four transparent, freely programmable buttons and an interchangeable front cover for custom labeling make the device truly unique and highly adaptable to different workflows.

Hybrid AutoID Performance for Multiple Use Cases

ECCO+ combines a compact, rugged design with advanced AutoID technology. As a hybrid system, it not only reads 1D and 2D barcodes, but also identifies (reads and writes) RFID tags in HF or UHF. Depending on the application, it is available as a pure 1D/2D barcode scanner, a pure HF/UHF reader, or as a combined barcode & RFID device.

This flexibility makes ECCO+ suitable for a broad range of tasks in transport and logistics, asset tracking, healthcare, e-ticketing, time and attendance and more.

With common communication interfaces such as USB, Bluetooth and WiFi, the ECCO+ integrates easily into existing IT environments. The device is based on an embedded Linux system and connects seamlessly via integrated middleware (EMMware).

Using the intuitive “MasterSetup” software, the four operation keys and device behavior can be configured individually – without any programming skills. For more complex applications, developers can use the available SDK with extensive C/C++ code samples to implement custom logic directly on the device.

The changeable and customizable front cover is a distinctive feature of the ECCO+. Buttons can be labeled clearly and individually, while colors and logos can be adapted to any corporate identity and use case. A robust housing ensures reliable operation in harsh environments, and certifications in Europe and North America underline its suitability for professional, safety-relevant applications.
