Leuze at LogiMAT 2026 with identCHAIN and scanGATE
Transparent, efficient, secure
At LogiMAT 2026 (March 24–26, Messe Stuttgart), Leuze will be demonstrating in Hall 3, Booth C60, how automation in production and the supply chain can be further scaled up – with a focus on networked identification at the field level and end-to-end data transparency.
The focus will be on the identCHAIN platform for efficient data exchange between identification systems and sensors, as well as scanGATE, a system for pallet identification in goods receiving. Leuze will also be presenting the RSL 200 safety laser scanner and the FBPS 600i safety barcode positioning system with PROFIsafe.
identCHAIN: Real-time access to object and process data along the supply chain
Distributed data, media breaks, and status information that is only available with a time delay: these are typical factors that slow down track-and-trace applications, especially in complex production and logistics processes.
identCHAIN addresses these challenges by controlling a network of identification systems and sensors at the shop floor/field level. Users gain efficient access to comprehensive object and process data in real time at every point in the supply chain.
The system operates autonomously at the operational level and performs all data handling on the shop floor. identCHAIN uses application-specific virtual data carriers to provide consistent information—without additional media breaks and with the aim of simplifying data usage in track-and-trace scenarios.

Leuze will also be presenting the topic in a specialist lecture on March 24 at 10:00 a.m. in Forum North (Hall 7).
scanGATE: Reliably identify pallets in goods receiving
Another highlight at the Leuze booth: scanGATE, a flexible and future-proof system for identifying deliveries on pallets in goods receiving. The solution for distribution centers captures 1D/2D codes on both sides of goods deliveries as soon as a pallet passes through the gate. This works even in difficult lighting conditions or with variable label quality – reliably at process speeds of up to 0.5 m/s.
scanGATE is flexibly scalable, robust for 24/7 logistics operations, and can be easily integrated into existing IT and logistics processes. The aim is to speed up goods receipt, reduce manual process steps, and improve data availability for downstream processes.
RSL 200: Ultra-compact safety laser scanner
With the RSL 200, Leuze is also presenting a safety laser scanner in an ultra-compact size (80 × 80 × 86 mm). Innovative connection technology opens up new options for sensor integration. Users can use it to secure machines and systems as well as driverless transport systems (AGVs) or autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) – while requiring very little space.
FBPS 600i: Safe positioning via barcode
For safe position detection, Leuze presents the FBPS 600i safety barcode positioning system with PROFIsafe interface. This allows the device to be connected directly to a safe PLC – for a particularly compact design and simplified installation. Alternatively, the system is also available with two SSI interfaces. All variants detect positions reliably with just one sensor, which reduces integration and maintenance costs.
