As Europe prepares to implement the Digital Product Passport (DPP), we are taking proactive steps to ensure transparency, compliance, and sustainability across its operations.

Every product will carry it's own identity

Under this regulation, products will effectively gain a digital identity, a traceable record that details each component's material composition, origin and environmental impact. This information will be made accessible across the product’s lifecycle, creating a network of data that enhances circularity, sustainability, and accountability. Meaning the end of fragmented documentation and the beginning of a real-time digital trail.

RAIN RFID technology stands as one of the possible carriers for DPP because of its ability to link physical items to digital records efficiently and at scale.

For manufacturers and supply chain partners, this transition represents both a challenge and an opportunity to prepare early, align operations with emerging requirements, and stay ahead of regulatory and market expectations.

Steps we are taking

  • Investigating product life cycle analyses, helps us understand and minimise environmental impact from material sourcing through to product disposal.

  • Systematically gathering material composition data for all products to ensure compliance with major international standards such as RoHS and REACH (EU).

  • Voluntarily aligning with EU iron and steel sanctions.

  • By adhering to 3TG conflict mineral guidelines.
