Strengthening Leadership for the Next Phase of Energy Harvesting

Dracula Technologies is entering a decisive phase of industrial expansion. Following strong momentum around its LAYER® organic photovoltaic technology, the company is reinforcing its management team to support the transition from innovation-driven projects to large-scale industrial deployment.

With customers increasingly moving from pilot programs to full production, the company is aligning its organization to deliver reliability, scalability and consistent quality at volume.

From Innovation to Industrial Readiness

After successfully demonstrating its technology and introducing the latest LAYER® V2 generation, Dracula Technologies is now focused on scaling production. This shift reflects a broader market trend, where battery-free IoT solutions are moving into real-world deployments across industries.

To meet these demands, the company is strengthening operations, quality management and commercial execution. The goal is clear: enable customers to deploy energy-harvesting solutions at scale with confidence in lead times, performance and long-term availability.

Building the Foundation for Scalable Production

This transformation builds on a strategic investment roadmap launched in 2023 and expanded through a Series A extension in 2025. A key milestone is the Green Micropower Factory in Valence, designed to industrialize the production of organic photovoltaic modules.

The facility represents a major step toward high-volume manufacturing of sustainable energy solutions, supporting applications such as smart buildings, asset tracking and connected devices. It also reinforces Dracula Technologies’ position as a reliable industrial partner for companies scaling IoT deployments.

Strengthening Leadership Across Key Functions

To support its industrial ambitions, Dracula Technologies has appointed experienced leaders across operations, sales and quality:

  • Sylvain Chesné, COO
Brings over 20 years of industrial leadership experience from Valeo, with expertise in production, plant management and global project execution.

  • Alain Jutant, CSO
Joins from ITEN and previously held senior roles at Thales Group and Atmel. He brings deep experience in scaling commercial operations in advanced technology markets.

  • Jérémy Champier, Head of Quality
Formerly at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, he will lead quality strategy to ensure industrial-grade standards during ramp-up.

These appointments complement the existing leadership team, including CTO Sadok Ben Dkhil and co-founders Jérôme Vernet and CEO Brice Cruchon.

Powering the Future of Battery-Free IoT

At the core of Dracula Technologies’ growth is its LAYER® technology, which uses organic photovoltaics to harvest ambient light and power low-energy devices without batteries. Combined with innovations such as LAYER®Vault, the company enables energy harvesting and storage on a single flexible substrate.

As industries seek sustainable alternatives to traditional power sources, Dracula Technologies is positioning itself at the forefront of battery-free IoT innovation.

Driving Sustainable Industrial IoT at Scale

With a strengthened leadership team and a clear industrial strategy, Dracula Technologies is accelerating its journey toward large-scale deployment.

The company’s focus on scalable production, reliable delivery and continuous innovation reflects a broader shift in the IoT market. Energy harvesting is no longer experimental. It is becoming a practical, deployable solution for powering the next generation of connected devices.
