CHAINWAY UR1A Long-Range RFID Reader for Industry – Available at IDCRAFT
Available from IDCRAFT GmbH, the CHAINWAY UR1A is a stationary UHF | RAIN RFID long-range reader developed for industrial identification processes. Designed for demanding environments in industry, logistics, and retail, the device supports fast, reliable, and automated identification where long read ranges and high tag densities are required.
Built on the Impinj E-Series platform, the reader supports Gen2X technology and achieves read rates of more than 1,300 tags per second. It also supports the globally established EPC Class 1 Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C standard, making it compatible with a broad range of UHF RFID transponders for use in international supply chains and company-wide RFID infrastructures.
One of the defining features of the CHAINWAY UR1A is its integrated circularly polarized antenna, available with 6 dBi or 9 dBi antenna gain. This integrated design reduces installation effort because no external antenna is required. At the same time, circular polarization helps ensure reliable tag detection regardless of tag orientation.

To support integration into existing IT and automation environments, the CHAINWAY UR1A offers interfaces including Ethernet, RS-232, and GPIO. Support for PoE / PoE+ also simplifies installation by combining power supply and data transmission via a single Ethernet cable.
