The doorLoxx® Digital Locking System from deister electronic is a scalable wireless electronic locking system for secure, flexible and cable-free access control. It enables organisations to replace conventional mechanical keys and master-key systems with digital locks, electronic cylinders, smart door handles and RFID-based access credentials.
Designed for offices, industrial facilities, public buildings, healthcare environments, education, logistics sites and secured storage areas, doorLoxx supports modern electronic access control without extensive door modifications or complicated cabling. Battery-powered locking components can be retrofitted directly to existing doors, cabinets, lockers, safes and other access points.
The doorLoxx portfolio includes a broad range of electronic locking components for different security and installation requirements. Available solutions include digital cylinders, electronic door fittings, digital handles, electronic locks, digital strikes, door-control modules, cabinet locks and safe locks.
This modular approach makes it possible to implement a consistent smart lock and access-control system across different door types and secured areas. The reader electronics are separated from the mechanical locking component, helping organisations keep credential technologies up to date without replacing the complete lock hardware.
doorLoxx supports a variety of secure identification technologies for contactless door access. Depending on the selected reader head, users can authenticate with RFID cards, key fobs, transponders, smart cards or BLE-enabled mobile credentials.
Supported technologies include ISO 14443 A/B, ISO 15693 and BLE, enabling compatibility with common RFID and smart-card environments. This allows access rights to be assigned to employees, visitors, contractors or temporary users without issuing and managing mechanical keys.
For connected deployments, doorLoxx uses airLink®, deister electronic’s proprietary low-power wireless communication technology. airLink connects battery-operated locks, cylinders, handles and update devices with the access-control infrastructure without requiring a cable connection to every door.
The wireless connection supports central access-right updates, access-event transfer, audit-log downloads, device-status information and real-time functions such as remote locking and unlocking. According to deister electronic, airLink achieves ranges of up to 30 metres indoors and 100 metres outdoors, while protecting transmitted data with 128-bit AES encryption.
doorLoxx can be configured for different operational requirements, from simple small-scale installations to enterprise-wide access-control environments.
In real-time online mode, electronic locking components communicate through airLink to provide live events, remote control and central management.
In offline Cardnet mode, access rights, time profiles and calendar data are securely stored on the user’s RFID credential. Update stations refresh the credential at designated points, allowing secure access at offline doors without needing wireless infrastructure at every location.
In standalone mode, access permissions are stored directly in the electronic locking component. This provides a practical solution for smaller buildings, individual rooms, cabinets or restricted areas without central software or permanently connected infrastructure.
With battery operation, cable-free retrofit capability and modular access-control options, doorLoxx offers a future-ready route from mechanical keys to digital security. The system combines electronic door locks, RFID access control, wireless smart locks and central access-right management in one flexible platform.
This makes doorLoxx suitable for organisations looking to improve security, reduce key-management effort, react quickly to lost credentials and manage access rights across doors, lockers, cabinets, safes and secured zones.
