Detailed product information
Your FEIG reader talks directly to your backend. No middleware. No edge device. Just plug and play.
Direct RFID Data Integration From the Reader
FEIG2any is a plug-and-play application that runs natively on supported FEIG UHF RFID readers. It sends RFID events directly to cloud platforms, enterprise backends or on-premise systems without requiring an additional edge device, separate server or custom middleware.
The application is installed through the reader’s standard firmware update process. Once activated, users select the required connector in the browser-based interface, enter the endpoint details and start transmitting RFID data directly from the reader.
Key Features
Direct-to-Cloud Data Transfer
RFID events are transferred directly from the FEIG reader to the connected backend using standard communication protocols. This reduces the number of infrastructure components between the read point and the target system.
No Additional Hardware
FEIG2any runs directly on the RFID reader. A separate industrial PC, edge gateway or middleware server is not required.
Browser-Based Configuration
Connectors and endpoint parameters are configured through the reader’s web interface. Standard integrations can be set up without writing application code.
Integrated Connector Library
FEIG2any provides ready-to-use connectors for cloud, enterprise and industrial automation environments. Additional connectors are continuously being developed.
Source Code Access
The licence includes access to the source code, supporting business continuity and enabling customer-specific extensions or adaptations.
Supported Connectors and Protocols
FEIG2any currently supports:
HTTP Webhook using REST and JSON
MQTT Broker with publish-and-subscribe communication
AWS IoT Core via MQTT or HTTPS
Azure IoT Hub for device-to-cloud telemetry
OPC UA for industrial automation systems
This allows RFID data to be connected directly to cloud services, customer applications, manufacturing systems and on-premise platforms.
Installation and Operation
Install
Upload the FEIG2any software package to a supported FEIG UHF RFID reader using the standard firmware update process.
Configure
Open the reader’s browser-based interface, select the required connector and enter the corresponding endpoint and authentication details.
Go Live
Activate the configuration. The reader then begins sending RFID events directly to the selected cloud or backend system.
Licensing and Support
FEIG2any is licensed per device. Volume-based pricing tiers provide reduced licence costs for larger reader fleets.
Basic, Advanced and Elite support plans are available. Depending on the selected plan, services include:
Software updates
Security patches
Protocol updates
Defined response times
Source code access
Continuous maintenance supports compatibility with evolving protocols and European regulatory requirements.
Built for Scalable RFID Deployments
By removing separate middleware and edge hardware, FEIG2any simplifies the architecture of distributed RFID installations. It is suitable for applications in logistics, manufacturing, asset tracking, smart cabinets, inventory management and other environments where RFID events must be transferred reliably into existing IT systems.
FEIG2any was developed by Cookielab in partnership with FEIG Electronic and Wilmsmeier Solutions.
