The Brady HH86 is an industrial handheld RFID reader and Android mobile computer for reliable data capture in inventory, asset-tracking and workflow applications. It combines UHF RFID, NFC/HF RFID and 1D/2D barcode scanning in one rugged device, enabling users to identify, locate and process tagged items directly in MES, ERP and WMS environments.

Its circularly polarised UHF antenna supports reading distances of up to 10 metres and capture rates of up to 1,200 tags per second, regardless of tag orientation. The reader operates in the ETSI 865 to 868 MHz or FCC/IC 902 to 928 MHz bands and supports ISO 18000-63 / EPC Class 1 Gen2v2.

Designed for all-day industrial use, the HH86 features Android 14, a high-definition capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB, GNSS and optional LTE connectivity. Visual LED indicators, audio signals and vibration provide feedback during scanning and locating workflows. The device is available with a pistol grip or standard back cover.

The IP65-rated housing is resistant to dust, moisture and drops from up to 1.6 metres. A hot-swappable 10,050 mAh battery enables up to 18 hours of continuous operation with the pistol-grip version, while the grip-free model offers up to 12 hours of use with a 6,700 mAh battery.

The Brady HH86 supports inventory management, asset tracking and other RFID-enabled processes where mobile identification, direct system integration and durable field hardware are required.
