Cisper Introduces the 1W WattUp PowerBridge from Energous

The 1W WattUp PowerBridge is a low-profile and lightweight integrated system designed for easy installation on both ceilings and walls to facilitate large coverage areas. Energous WattUp PowerBridges scan for Wiliot IoT Pixel beacons and can intelligently re-broadcast them to ensure all beacons are captured and passed to the Gateway device.

This 1W WattUp PowerBridge has an Omni-directional antenna and is recommended for energizing and zoning larger areas where there are no strict requirements with respect to the spatial RF delimitation. For PoC’s/deployments Energous advises to always use a set up that consist of PowerBridges with both Directional and Omni-directional antennas, this in order to get the best performance in the areas or zones that need to be energized.

The Energous PowerBridge uses the Energous EN4100 and EN3210 chips. The EN4100 is a highly integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) RF transmitter IC and the EN3210 is a 1.4W, high-efficiency, CMOS power amplifier (PA). The 1W WattUp PowerBridge can be used in combination with Wiliot Pixel beacons in applications such as; inventory and asset tracking, RTLS, temperature/humidity monitoring and safety and security solutions.
