Event visitor registration and lead management
When you purchase a ticket, we collect your name, your address, and your
e-mail address as mandatory information. If you wish to receive your ticket as an electronic ticket on your mobile device, we may also collect your mobile number as mandatory information.
At our trade fair, we may also collect data on your company, professional position and industry as mandatory information as part of the so-called full registration. On the one hand, this enables us to determine whether you have a professional connection to the trade fair, and on the other hand, we use your personal data record to implement so-called “lead management” offers. In the area of “lead management”, you can have the barcode or QR code printed on your ticket “scanned” by exhibitors in order to give them access to your data for the purpose of a subsequent promotional approach by the exhibiting company, if necessary.
We process the collected data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO in order to fulfill the existing contract with you, usually for the purpose of visiting the trade fair. This also includes the associated customer service. In the context of lead management, the legal basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. a DSGVO applies. By having the QR code scanned by the exhibitor, you give your consent to the data processing.
We also process and use your data, insofar as we are permitted to do so in accordance with legal requirements, for the purpose of addressing you in advertising by post or e-mail. The data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO in order to inform you about our events and related topics.
If you have redeemed an entry code from an issuing company for a ticket, we will pass on your personal data to the inviting person.
Payment systems for online ticket purchases
When purchasing tickets in our online ticket store, we use various payment systems.
With none of the available payment options, data will be stored by Medienhaus Van Bocxlaer GmbH.
