Passive UHF RFID Label for Temperature and Moisture Sensing

The Reveal™ Sense-T 6050 is a smart RFID label from SIVA IoT with integrated temperature and moisture sensing. It combines passive UHF RFID identification with environmental condition monitoring for goods, materials and assets that are sensitive to temperature, humidity or moisture exposure.

The label is designed for supply chain, logistics and industrial applications where environmental data needs to be linked to an individual item, pallet, package or material batch. Typical use cases include food and grain products, cold chain monitoring, bulk material temperature monitoring, building and roofing materials, data center cooling systems and automotive leak monitoring.

RFID Identification With Environmental Data

The Reveal™ Sense-T 6050 is a passive Class 1 Gen 2 UHF RFID transponder based on the EPC Global Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-6C air interface. It operates in ETSI and FCC frequency ranges and uses a sensor IC to support temperature and moisture-related monitoring.

Because the label is passive, it does not require a battery. It can be deployed on items, cartons, pallets or materials and read by compatible UHF RFID infrastructure. This makes it suitable for scalable deployments where identification and environmental condition data need to be captured without adding active devices to every asset.

Designed for Sensitive Goods and Materials

Temperature and moisture conditions can affect product quality, material performance and supply chain integrity. The Reveal™ Sense-T 6050 supports monitoring of ambient conditions and material-related temperature or moisture changes in applications such as perishable goods logistics, food storage, grain handling, cold chain transport and data center cooling.

The label is intended for use on non-metallic surfaces and is mounted with a high-performance permanent acrylic adhesive. The application surface should be clean, dry and even to support reliable bonding.

Label Format and Personalization

The Reveal™ Sense-T 6050 is supplied in roll format and can be integrated into labeling and RFID deployment processes. Customer-specific EPC encoding is available, together with customized printing of logos, text, numbers and barcodes.

The label format supports both RFID-based identification and visible information on the same label. This is useful when human-readable codes, brand information or process labels need to be combined with wireless identification and sensing.
