Detailed product information

Compact HF RFID Label for Industrial Maintenance and Equipment Identification

The LABEL1836special from microsensys is a compact 13.56 MHz HF RFID transponder designed for industrial part and equipment identification. It can be mounted on both metal and non-metal surfaces and is specifically intended for maintenance and facility management applications.

The transponder is based on ISO 15693 and the microsensys iID®2000 close-coupling RFID system. Depending on the chip type, the communication distance is up to 30 mm, influenced by the reader antenna, chip configuration and surrounding metal environment.

Designed for Direct Equipment Tagging

With dimensions of approximately 20 × 38 mm and a maximum thickness of 2 mm, the LABEL1836special is designed for compact industrial installations. Its construction combines a multilayer ferrite package with a clear polyurethane front. The label is partially flexible, with a specified minimum bending radius of 50 mm, and features hermetic encapsulation.

The transponder is self-adhesive and can be mounted directly on metal. This makes it suitable for identifying machines, components and other equipment where conventional RFID labels may be affected by the surrounding metal surface.

Built for Maintenance and Facility Management

The LABEL1836special provides a unique RFID identity that can be linked to maintenance, inspection or asset records in a digital system. Depending on the selected chip version, microsensys offers I-CODE SLI, I-CODE SLIX and I-CODE SLIX2 configurations.

The label operates from -25 to +65 °C, can be stored from -25 to +80 °C and provides IP64 protection. Optional services include customer-specific graphic printing, barcodes, running numbers as well as memory personalization and initialization.
