Detailed product information
Compact Design. Qualified RFID Performance.
The MARQUEE UCODE 9 from Hana RFID is an ultra-compact UHF | RAIN RFID inlay designed for reliable item-level identification where tagging space is limited. Featuring an antenna measuring just 29 × 15 mm, MARQUEE enables RFID integration into accessories, small retail products and compact packaging without requiring large label surfaces.
Powered by the NXP UCODE 9 chip, MARQUEE combines miniaturized antenna engineering with Auburn University RFID Lab ARC Spec Q certification. Its qualified RF performance makes it suitable for inventory management and supply chain visibility applications where compact dimensions and dependable identification are essential.
Designed for Small Retail Items and Accessories
Small products present specific challenges for RFID integration. Labels must accommodate branding, barcodes and product information while leaving sufficient space for the RFID antenna.
MARQUEE addresses these constraints with a compact footprint that gives label converters and packaging designers greater flexibility. The inlay can be integrated into smaller label constructions, allowing brands to introduce item-level RFID identification while preserving space for existing packaging elements.
Typical applications include:
Retail accessories: RFID identification of small products with limited label space.
Inventory management: Automated identification of tagged items during stocktaking and inventory operations.
Supply chain visibility: Item-level identification throughout distribution and logistics processes.
Compact packaging: RFID integration into space-constrained label and packaging designs.
NXP UCODE 9 and ARC Spec Q Certification
MARQUEE combines Hana RFID's optimized aluminum antenna design with the NXP UCODE 9 IC. The inlay supports EPCglobal Gen2v2 and ISO/IEC 18000-63 Type C and operates across the UHF frequency range of 860–960 MHz.
The chip provides 96-bit EPC memory and 96-bit TID memory, supporting standardized item identification. No additional user memory is available.
ARC Spec Q certification confirms that the inlay meets the relevant performance requirements established by Auburn University's RFID Lab. Each inlay undergoes 100% inspection during manufacturing.
Two Formats for RFID Label Production
MARQUEE UCODE 9 is available in two configurations:
Dry Inlay (TX2915AU9): Features the 29 × 15 mm antenna on a PET substrate without a paper face or adhesive. Designed for converters integrating RFID into customized label constructions. Supplied in rolls of 55,000 inlays.
Paper Face (TX2915AU9-WW): Combines the RFID inlay with thermal transfer paper and permanent acrylic adhesive. The finished construction measures 32 × 18 mm and is supplied in rolls of 13,000 units.
Both versions support operating temperatures from −40 °C to +85 °C and comply with applicable EU RoHS requirements.
