PPS On-Metal RFID Tag for Harsh Environments

The HF RFID On-Metal Rugged Tag is a durable PPS disc tag developed for reliable identification and tracking on metallic surfaces. Its specialized on-metal design reduces interference caused by metal and enables stable RFID performance when mounted directly on machinery, tools, equipment, containers, and other metal assets.

Operating at 13.56 MHz, the rugged RFID tag is available with ISO/IEC 15693 or ISO/IEC 14443, including NFC-compatible versions. This makes the tag suitable for a wide range of industrial identification, asset-tracking, maintenance, and inventory-management applications.

The robust housing is manufactured from PPS, a high-performance engineering plastic designed for demanding operating conditions. The HF RFID on-metal tag resists water, dust, mechanical impacts, and high temperatures of up to 200°C. It can therefore be used in both indoor and outdoor environments, including production facilities, workshops, logistics areas, and high-temperature industrial processes.

Its durable construction helps maintain reliable identification where conventional RFID labels may be damaged by heat, moisture, dirt, shocks, or repeated handling.
