Multi-Protocol HF RFID and NFC Desktop Reader for PoS and Identification Applications

The ID CPR30pro from FEIG ELECTRONIC is a multi-protocol HF RFID and NFC desktop reader for contactless identification and data exchange at workstations and PoS environments. Operating at 13.56 MHz, it supports ISO 14443-A/-B, ISO 15693, ISO 18000-3M3 and NFC devices according to ISO 18092, enabling applications such as eTicketing, eDocuments, loyalty programs and public transport.

The reader provides high-level support for MIFARE DESFire and MIFARE PLUS. Functions such as SoftCrypto and SAMCrypto high level simplify access to encrypted data from MIFARE DESFire EV1, MIFARE PLUS and MIFARE Ultralight C, while EV2 Secure Messaging is supported for newer NXP chips. The platform also supports Google Smart Tap, Apple Value Added Services (VAS) and other NFC applications.

Flexible Integration for Desktop and PoS Systems

The ID CPR30pro connects via USB Full-Speed and can be integrated using the FEIG USB driver or a PC/SC driver. Software development kits are available for Windows, Linux and Raspberry Pi, supporting development in C++, .NET and Java depending on the platform. The reader can operate in Polling Mode or Scan Mode, with HID available in Scan Mode.

For applications requiring additional security hardware, the ID CPR30pro SAM variant adds two SAM sockets with ISO 7816 support. Both versions feature an integrated antenna, optical and acoustic status indicators and USB power supply, providing a compact desktop platform for secure HF RFID and NFC applications.
