Detailed product information

Versatile low and high frequency asset tags with exceptional durability

HID's Glass Tags are passive contactless transponders designed for easy insertion or molding into many materials, enabling automated asset identification via RFID. Manufactured using patented HID Global DBond™ technology, these tags offer excellent size-to-performance ratios for both LF and HF applications.

The glass housing safeguards the embedded electronics against harsh chemicals and environmental factors, maintaining tag readability even when immersed in liquids. This ensures excellent stability across a broad range of temperatures.

These tags are ideal for tracking assets such as tools, equipment, pharmaceuticals, inventory, metallic kegs, gas cylinders, and waste containers. The glass enclosure allows embedding into custom housings and mounting on virtually any surface, including metal, plastic, wood, paper, and water.

Key Benefits
