Update for the Quattro and Proton Fixed Reader from CAEN RFID!
The CAEN RFID Quattro (RP4321P) and Proton (R4320P) RAIN RFID fixed readers now support the MQTT communication protocol as an additional interface to the existing options (SDK, TCP/IP socket and HTTP/HTTPS).
MQTT is a very popular IoT protocol for sending data from one machine to another and it is widely supported by the most popular cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure as well as by open-source solutions like the Mosquito broker.
This new capability opens-up new possibilities for system integrators and partners to collect and manage data coming from the RFID readers.
